Getting Aligned!

May 17, 2006

For the last few months, I’ve been affirming something that Catherine Ponder shared with me through her book. It reads, “everything and everyone prospers me now, and I prosper everything and everyone now!”

Since I begun affirming that, I’ve noticed that every single thing in my life is supported by something else in my life and affects it. Here are some examples:

– when I set up a seminar and logistic details for it, in just a few days, I had great ideas as to how to market it and I went for it. The way I realised was at a family dinner when something striked me and it had nothing to do with the seminar itself.

– I had a seminar a few Saturday’s ago called “Attracting Wealth” and the principles I shared, I have been living in my life for a while and they are reaping great success for me. Everywhere I look there’s a link back to it. At the time of preparing for the seminar, I felt the urged to revisit Steve Pavlina’s blog and he posted an interview with Marc Allen, and he shared the principles by which I’m living my life.

What it shows and assures me is that I’m guided by inner knowing or ultimate calling to perform every action that I do, and every single thing has a connection to everything else. It’s like living in true bliss.

Commit today to live the life you deserve by assessing each option, challenge, obstacle, problem, etc that you’re faced with. Put yourself in front of it and ask yourself whether it’s right for you or not. You may not even need to ask yourself, you’ll just be attracted to do it, or repelled from it. Follow that inner calling or instinct – it’ll be the right path, even if you don’t see it at first!

How To Manifest Present Moment Awareness

May 9, 2006

It's really interesting to see what kind of things people search for in order to tap into this blog. When I was looking at my WordPress stats today, I was congratulated by the constant rise of visits in the last week as well as the growing list of search engine topics that have brought the perfect to my blog. One person typed in "HOW TO MANIFEST PRESENT MOMENT AWARENESS" and I hope through this post, I can answer that well…

Present moment awareness is "that magical ability of sentient beings to tap into the realm of the senses, drink life purely, and enter a state of witnessing awareness" (Chopra's Namaste)

Where are you right now? What are you doing in this particular moment? Are you thinking of yourself, a past experience you enjoyed, or a negative scenario? What's happening right now… right now… and right now in your awareness? All three "right nows" are three separate present moments, and heightening your awareness of the present moment increases your ability to connect with spirit in order to have peace and love in every moment.

How often do you a make a decision based on what you are feeling in any moment? Do you get angry at someone and then later feel you shouldn't have done that? Do you ever say things that you would not normally say when you were angry?

To sustain personal or spiritual growth, learning to live in the present moment with our emotions is critical. From life, we only get experience and that experience is depicted by our perceptions. By understanding the value of our present moment we can create life to be just the way we want it. Getting our emotions under control allows us to get back in the driving seat of our life and allow our emotions to work with us, not against us. Rather than allowing emotions to navigate our life, we allow the lessons of each emotion to dissipate fear and take us to new levels.

Past experiences also add to the perceptions we now create. Something that happened to you as a child may have created a neural connection that gives rise to your current particular behaviour.

Let me give you an example. When I did a 10,000ft Skydive for Age Concern a few years ago, not only did it help confront fears, but being at the top and looking down made me feel hopeless and helpless. When I reached down, I spent some time asking myself about why those emotions overcame me. I concluded that it was because as a child I was brought up in an environment which didn't really welcome so many questions, and when it did, I felt the way I was answered wasn't very inviting. This is a common situation for many people. I was lucky to face such fears and change the rest of my life. I am now open to living in the present moment rather than being fearful of a past experience. And you can do the same too.
It's important to live in the now. Focus on your intentions right now. What do you want to achieve? What decision do you have to make? Make it without any past attachments – you'll feel less burdened, revitalised and more motivated!

The techniques I use to feel more in the present moment are meditation, mental imagery, and affirmations. Here's something I believe you should do:

Get into a comfy position and relax all your body from top to bottom. Take deep breaths while doing this – you'll take in lots more oxygen, and remove what's not needed in your body in larger quantities. Observe your thoughts and emotions. What are you thinking? What are you feeling? Are you… Angry? Bitter? Sad? Excited? Joyful? Effortless? Pay attention to your vehicle – your body. Just relax. You are calm, peaceful and present.

When you develop such present moment awareness, you really have the best opportunity to make informed decisions. You can easily step away from any situation and just evaluate it for what it really is, not with any attachments.

Deepak Chopra's second key to happiness sums it up nicely:

Live in the present, for it is the only moment you have. Keep your attention on what is here and now; look for the fullness in every moment. Accept what comes to you totally and learn from it, and then let it go. The present is as it should be. It reflects infinte laws of Nature that have brought you this exact thought, this exact physical response. This moment is as it is because the universe it as it is. Don't struggle against the infinite scheme of things; instead, be as one with it.

The definite richness!

April 14, 2006

Once again, I've been out of touch with my blogging for several days because my business is doing well, my study is good too and I'm having a blast of a time! However, I don't like that I haven't made time to blog so I'm ensuring that I'm back on track from today.

I believe that everything happens for the perfect reasons and therefore at the perfect time. Just last night, our television went bust! Perfect timing because it's the Easter sales this weekend. This morning, I spent some time looking around various shops for some televisions and as I looked at the wealth that was around me, I asked myself, what is the definition of richness?

What do you define as rich? What is great wealth for you? Is it a great 50" plasma TV? A beautiful home? A nice car? Donations to charity? Security? Health? A satisfied and fulfilled life?

Richness is not just about being financially wealthy, it is everything associated with being wealthy. Being in a prosperous state is a great feeling of richness. When you are fulfilled, you are in a state of richness.

Get really specific about what would bring you a rich life. No one judges you, and thereforere there are no right or wrong answers. Live your life the way YOU want to. Get out some paper and brainstorm what being rich is for you and then spend a few moments each day focusing thoroughly on this. Watch that your thoughts, feelings and beliefs are aligned with your rich goal and then welcome it to unfold in your life.

You see, we are all creators. We hold the power with us to create anything we want in our lives. Our ability to manifest the changes we desire depends on the depth and passion of our beliefs and on the focus of our attention. Commit today to begin commanding for the richness in your life!

If you're in London next Saturday 22 April, come along to my "Attracting Wealth through Rhythm" seminar where we'll look at the mental state of wealth and how you can manifest wealth into your life. And also, it'd be great to meet you!

It’s important to brake!

April 2, 2006

You're the one driving in your life, and if you don't realise it, most of the time you are on the accelerator pedal. Try using the brake pedal every now and again, because it's important to slow down from the higher gear.

If we're living in the higher gear for so long, we'll never be able to experience what life has to offer to us fully. And in situations of stress, anxiety and "high gear" driving, we'll never be able to fully grasp compassion, love, happiness, appreciation and fun. What we will get is frustration, annoyance and impatience.

To experience life, you've got to tune in to the pace of nature which as Ralph Waldo Emerson said is patience. There is always a choice to make in every situation life has to offer. Choose to use the brake pedal and slow down in your life so you can see life for what it truly is.

I like Eddie Cantor's quote: "Slow down and enjoy life. It's not only the scenery you miss by going too fast — you also miss the sense of where you are going and why."

Let the ocean help you command your desires!

March 27, 2006

This came to me in an email yesterday. It's so powerful; I've got to share it with you…

"We are the ocean — vast, deep, powerful and rich. Nourishing and nurturing. Dive down into the dark stillness of being. Sense the rising and falling of surface thoughts and emotions, sometimes gentle, sometimes violent. Always shifting. Always in motion. Draw back and watch the waves of your life at play. Know you are the unfathomable depths — surface agitations can’t disturb you. Know that you are bigger than the little things that aggravate you."

You really are bigger than you think. Use it to your advantage and command your desires.

Pay your bills with love!

March 23, 2006

Kavit’s Note: My coaching business has been really busy in the last week, coming off the back of two events and the usual stuff, so apologies for not being able to post here.

Imagine this: You wake up, here the post drop in through the letterbox and go down to collect it. When you see the telephone company logo, it immeadiately clicks to you that it’s a bill. Do you go “argh! another bill to pay” or “how am I going to manage to pay this?” or “I’ve just got paid, and now it’s going to go again.”?

I’ve committed those “crimes” as well, and paying with such thought patterns hasn’t helped. Let me explain. When you see the bill and get depressed or into a lower, negative state about it, you bring your attention to it and the power of your projection is negative. And remember, what you put out, always comes back. Like attracts like, so if you focus on remaining in the negative state, you’re going to keep staying in that situation each time.

What I’ve conditioned myself to do is to have divine love working through me in every situation. When I see my bills, I immeadiately feel “great, I can pay these one’s off as soon as possible!” and whether you have the money or not is somewhat out of the question. You see, money is in constant flow, just like the universe. When you let go of some money, you pave the way and are inviting the universe to send some more through.

I hear you say… “If you keep letting go and receiving the same amount of money, you have the same level all the time. What’s the point in that?” So here’s a technique to increase your range of money… everytime you let go of some money, affirm this: “I give thanks for my ability to share £(10). I am now receiving ten times more, or £(100) into my life. This, or more, manifests now.” The power of ten is that used in the ancient times. Do this for any petty cash you spend, even if it’s at the sweet shop! I credit Catherine Ponder for teaching me this, for it is making me lots and lots with my continued use of it.

Pay your bills with love. That’s the energy you put out and by increasing your range, you’ll get more unconditional, universal love back as well as an increasing money range. Feel free to share your thoughts about this and your stories here.

The universe is watching your every thought, feeling and action… Watch Out!

Are you REALLY working for prosperity?

March 17, 2006

On an everyday basis, we see and hear of people working hard with a goal of wealth and prosperity in mind, yet how many of those people actually achieve it?

I absolutely believe that you have got to work to be prosperous – but this work is one in which it is done effortlessly with passion, energy and love. A lot of people who work hard for prosperity don’t achieve it because of some negative attachment involved internally. Many people hold grudges or hate about other things or people which they hold on to for a long time, no matter how small or discrete it is, yet they don’t understand how much that actually affects their prosperity.

Substance from the universe needs to be able to flow through you freely, but if it is has got some kind of blockage (the grudges, hate, hurt, etc) then it’s going to take a longer time and possibly find another route. By releasing your grudges, and leaving the past where it’s meant to be, one’s able to appreciate what learning’s have been learnt, and use them to their advantage so they can produce the right results in that moment.

The great thing is that you can actually take a really proactive approach right this moment and commit to changing your experience. First, understand that you’re not the only one in this situation and also understand that grudges, and such negative emotions are not necessarily good or bad – it’s just how you react to them that creates the blockage for substance to flow. As I frequently like to say, “Nothing has meaning in life. It’s only the meaning you give it!”

Commit now to slowly releasing what past negative attachments you have held. Take it each step at a time. You’ll notice the real developments in your life 🙂
